The company was founded by Mia Rock-Rodriguez, Founder & CEO, whose vision for the business was shaped by more than two decades of experience in security operations management, business development, and workforce training. Alongside Mia, Josh Rodriguez, President of Field Operations, leads the operational side of the business. Josh is a law enforcement firearms instructor with a Class K Instructor License, NRA Firearms Instructor certification, USCCA Firearms Instructor certification, and extensive field experience in both law enforcement and private security. He personally oversees officer training, field deployments, post-level supervision, and quality assurance for every active contract. His hands-on leadership ensures that the officers deployed under the U.S.S. Agency badge meet the rigorous standards that our clients expect and deserve.

Officer Standards
The quality of a security company is determined entirely by the quality of its officers. At U.S.S. Agency, our officer standards exceed the minimum requirements set by the State of Florida. Every officer in our roster has undergone a rigorous vetting and training process that includes the following:
- Background screening including criminal history, employment verification, and reference checks
- Florida Level 2 fingerprinting through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and FBI
- Pre-employment and random drug testing with zero tolerance for violations
- Verification of valid Florida Class D Security Officer License (unarmed) or Class G Statewide Firearm License (armed)
- Ongoing performance assessments, post inspections, and supervisory reviews
- Law enforcement and military background preferred for all armed assignments
- Situational awareness training, de-escalation techniques, and incident reporting procedures
We do not hire officers who simply meet the minimum licensing requirements and leave it at that. Every officer who wears a U.S.S. Agency uniform has demonstrated the professionalism, discipline, and competence required to represent our clients and protect their interests. Officers who fail to meet our standards at any point during their tenure are removed from active duty immediately.

We maintain active workers' compensation coverage, general liability insurance, and professional liability coverage to protect our clients and our officers.
